Nadir for Coding Agents · Auto and delegation integrations
Use Nadir Auto for Claude Code or Codex main-session model selection, or choose a delegation integration. Your provider runs inference.
Questions answered on this page
Which coding agents does Nadir work with?
Nadir Auto selects the main model in Claude Code and Codex through their terminal companions, keeping one conversation. Separate delegation integrations cover Claude Code subagents (a plugin), Codex spawns (a hook), and other agents such as Cursor, Zed and Amp, which consult the engine as a skill.
Does Nadir run my coding agent's model calls?
No. Nadir is the decision engine only. Your agent keeps its own credentials and talks to its provider directly. Nadir recommends a model and effort for the task, and the integration determines whether that recommendation applies to a main turn or a delegated task.
Does Nadir Auto work with a Claude subscription?
Nadir Auto uses your existing Claude authentication. It does not change your plan or guarantee additional subscription allowance.
What happens if Nadir is down?
Auto retains the original baseline when a decision is unavailable. Authorization or governance refusals block dispatch.
What does Nadir Auto send to Nadir?
Auto sends the latest prompt, model menu and cache accounting for classification. The full conversation and model answers stay with your provider. Account retention settings apply when you use a key.
